Clay Day

Perivale Library, 184 Horsenden Lane South Perivale, UB6 7NT

Every 1st, 2nd and 3rd Sunday of the month from 10am till 1pm at the Perivale Library is a Clay Day! It’s a day of ceramic creativity and stress relief. A pleasant and calming clay activity for ages 5 – 100 exploring earthenware clay hand building techniques with the main focus on unleashing your creativity and exploring the medium of clay. 3 sessions one week apart (to let the clay works dry and be fired) with the finished works ready to be collected for the 4th week! This is a hands-on clay experience where at the 2 first sessions we can focus on turning your creative ideas into clay pieces that would get fired and would be glazed at the 3rd session. All activity is centred around being present with the creative process and evolving ideas from where the process takes us. The Perivale Library is managed by the Perivale Community Hive Group which is made up of local residents living in and near Perivale who have a passion for improving the quality of life and wellbeing within the area.
